Comprehensive Eye Exams
Getting your annual eye exam is crucial to screening for your body's overall health. Even if your vision is stable, checking your eyes annually can detect diseases sooner than your annual physical might like Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, and others.
What to Expect
Our technicians and doctors make the process as painless as possible, with the whole exam taking 30 minutes. You'll appreciate our state-of-the-art technology, including no air puff and no dilation!
Autorefraction
That hot air balloon you look at every year? That actually gets us about 90% of your prescription. We take it a step further and fine tune it from there.
Corneal Topography
We screen every patient for vision threatening corneal diseases that can be treated early on because our doctor specializes in Keratoconus and Specialty Contact Lenses.
Optomap Retinal Imaging
NO DILATION! The Optomap is like an X-ray for your eyes - it captures a 200 degree image of your retina (the inside of your eye) non-invasively in a single capture and displays the results instantly. So you don't have to worry about bringing a driver! We only dilate on an as-needed basis for certain conditions.
iCare Tonometry
NO AIR PUFF! iCare is the latest advancement in tonometry (checking eye pressures). It doesn't require anesthesia, takes seconds to performs, and most patients barely feel a thing. Research has shown it is as accurate as the gold standard.
Vision Testing
We check your vision at distance, if you have an eye turn or lazy eye, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, pupil testing, and eye muscle range of motion.
Refraction
The special name for checking your prescription, we use a completely digital machine with a side-by-side astigmatism mode so you don't have to remember "1 or 2", and gets a much more accurate prescription in less time, with less stress.
Eye Health Screening
Eye pressure is checked at every visit (to check for Glaucoma) without the need for a puff of air or anesthetic, in addition to our doctor checking the cornea with a specialized microscope camera, the lens, and the vitreous.
Contact Lens Fitting
If you need a contact lens prescription, the doctor will evaluate your corneal measurements and prescription to see which brand, modality, type, and prescription will work best for you. Any trials or follow ups needed can be scheduled before ordering to make sure you're wearing the healthiest contacts for your eyes.
